About Cordial Physiotherapy
Professional care that looks beyond the painful area
Based in Yau Ma Tei, Cordial Physiotherapy is led by Yvonne Lau, a Hong Kong registered physiotherapist and registered nurse. We combine Western physiotherapy with Chinese acupuncture approaches, with assessment and care planned around each person's needs.
Neck, shoulder and back pain or postural concerns may involve more than the place that hurts. We take a root-cause-oriented approach: listening to your history, assessing relevant movement and contributing factors, then discussing an appropriate physiotherapy plan. Treatment choices depend on individual assessment and are not a guarantee of results.
Yvonne has worked in the Hospital Authority, private corporate settings, private clinics and an NGO. She has also served as a course instructor for physiotherapy assistants and as a workplace wellness speaker.
